【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversstyrene-maleicanhydridematerialssuitableformoldingorextrusion.Thisspecificationdoesnotapplytoalloysorblendsofstyrene-maleicanhydridematerialswithnon-elastomericthermoplastics.Styrene-maleicanhydridematerials,beingthermoplastic,arereprocessableandrecyclable.Thisspecificationallowsfortheuseofthosematerialsprovidedthatallthespecificrequirementsofthisspecificationaremet.1.2Thepropertiesincludedinthisstandardarethoserequiredtoidentifythecompositionscovered.Theremaybeotherrequirementsnecessarytoidentifyparticularcharacteristicsimportanttospecializedapplications.Thesewillbeagreeduponbetweentheuserandthesupplier,byusingthesuffixesasgiveninSection.1.3Thisclassificationsystemandsubsequentlinecallout(specification)areintendedtoprovidemeansofcallingoutpropertiesofplasticmaterialsusedinthefabricationofenditemsorparts.Itisnotintendedfortheselectionofmaterials.Materialsshouldbeselectedbythosehavingexpertiseintheplasticsfieldaftercarefulconsiderationofthedesignandtheperformancerequiredofthepart,theenvironmenttowhichitwillbeexposed,thefabricationprocesstobeemployed,costsinvolved,andtheinherentpropertiesofthematerialotherthanthosecoveredbythisclassificationsystem.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.5Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section11,ofthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note1ThereisnoequivalentorsimilarISOstandardforS/MA.
